This is the first version of my Mearl drawing seen here. I decided that
the pose was a little too similar to another drawing I did. But, I still like
this one and think it has an interesting look to it. I know that for the most
part, it is craptastic, but it was more of a concept drawing to help me get to
thinking of how to draw this character. I wound up doing another version before I
came to the sketch that turned into the final version. I would post the second
sketch, but I erased it.
