"Hair Study"

This sketch got started because I saw a picture in a magazine and decided to try drawing her
hair. I actually spent a lot of time staring at the picture studying the structure of her hair and
how it flowed, as well as the shadows. I was moving along at a good pace until I got bored with
it....lol. A lot of the lines were actually quite faint and weren't picked up by the scanner. You can
tell which sections got worked on and which were just quickly sketched in. Don't mind that wonky
face - I wasn't going to draw one at all, and then I realized that I had. My hands have a mind
of their own sometimes.
